The short version: the game is free to play and yours to enjoy. Do not try to break, cheat, or resell it. In-game Coins, Gems, and clothes are part of the game, not property and not real money. You can choose to watch a video ad for a reward, and you can choose to buy a pack of Gems - but you never have to do either, and everything in the game can be earned by playing. Purchases go through Google Play, and if you are under 18 you need your parent's permission to make one. We do our best to keep the game working, but we cannot promise it is perfect.
1Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Nils Klavins, an individual developer based in Latvia ("we", "us"), covering your use of the game Style Adventure: Merge ("the game"). By installing or playing the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.
Because the game is distributed through the Google Play Store, Google's own terms apply to your download alongside these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what data is and is not collected, and forms part of this agreement.
2Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private entertainment. That licence is the whole of what you receive: you are not buying the game or any part of it.
You may not sell, rent, sub-license, or redistribute the game or any part of it; copy, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where law expressly grants you that right regardless of contract; or remove any credit or ownership notice from it.
3Age
The game is suitable for a general audience, including children. It asks for no personal information from anyone of any age, and shows only non-personalised advertising rated suitable for general audiences. If you are under the age at which you can enter a contract where you live, please read these terms together with a parent or guardian - their agreement counts as yours.
If you are under 18, you may only make a purchase in this game with the permission of the parent or guardian who owns the payment method. Purchases are made through Google Play, and we ask parents to switch on purchase authentication in the Google Play Store app under Settings so that no purchase can happen without them.
4Playing fairly
Please do not use cheats, bots, memory editors, modified versions of the game, or any other tool or trick meant to change how the game behaves or to grant progress the game did not give you. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system related to the game.
This includes anything designed to generate ad views or rewards artificially - automated clicking, emulator farms, or tools that fake watching a video. Advertising is what pays for the game, and fraudulent activity of that kind can cost us our advertising account.
These rules exist to keep the game working as designed. Since the game runs entirely on your own device with no accounts and no servers, we have no ability to suspend or ban anyone - but modified copies are outside this licence, and we cannot support or take responsibility for them.
5Coins, Gems, and in-game items
The game contains virtual currencies (Coins, Gems, Energy) and virtual items such as clothing. These exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything of real value, and cannot be transferred to another person or another device.
Your progress lives in a save file on your device. If you uninstall the game, reset your progress, change device, or your device is lost or damaged, that progress is gone and we cannot restore it. We may also change how the game's economy works - prices, rewards, drop rates, and balance - as part of normal updates.
6Buying Gems
The game offers optional packs of Gems for real money. They are a convenience, never a requirement: Gems are also earned by levelling up, completing orders, winning the daily contest, and watching rewarded videos, and the game can be completed without buying anything.
- Google Play is the seller of record. Every purchase is made through the Google Play Store, under Google's terms and using the payment methods on your Google account. We never receive or handle your payment details. The price you see on the purchase screen is the price that applies, in your own currency and including any tax Google collects.
- Gems are delivered immediately, and are consumed on delivery. Once a purchase completes, the Gems are added to the save file on your device. Because they are delivered at once and in full, the purchase is complete at that moment.
- Family approval may delay a purchase. If your Google account is part of a family group, a purchase may wait for a parent to approve it. Gems arrive only once that approval happens, and nothing is charged if it is declined.
- Gems live on one device. As with all progress in this game, purchased Gems are part of the local save file. If you uninstall, reset your progress, or change device, they are gone, and because we run no accounts and no servers we have no way to restore them. Please keep this in mind before buying.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play, not by us - request one through your Google Play order history or at Google's refund page. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days; by buying Gems, which are delivered to you immediately, you ask for performance to begin at once and acknowledge that this right ends once delivery is complete. Nothing here limits any refund right you have under the law where you live. If a purchase went wrong - you were charged and received nothing, or a child bought something without permission - write to info@ragazis.com and we will help you take it up with Google.
7Advertising and rewards
The game is free because it shows advertising. We have kept that to a single, optional format: rewarded video. A video plays only after you tap a button that tells you what you will receive for watching it.
- Watching is always your choice. Nothing in the game is locked behind an ad. Every reward a video offers can also be earned by playing, and the game can be completed without ever watching one.
- Rewards are credited on your device once a video finishes. If a video is interrupted - you close it early, the connection drops, the app is killed - the reward may not be granted, and we cannot issue it manually, because we hold no record of your account or progress.
- Availability is not guaranteed. Ads come from Google's advertising network. At times there may be no video available to show, and the game limits how many videos it will offer per day. Neither is a fault, and we cannot compensate for a video that was not available.
- The advertising is not ours. The content of an ad, and any site, app, or offer it leads to, belongs to the advertiser and not to us. We do not endorse it and we are not responsible for it or for anything you do after following it. Complaints about a specific ad are still welcome - write to us and we will report it.
- Ads are non-personalised. We instruct Google to treat every ad request from this game as child-directed and to serve only content rated suitable for general audiences. See the Privacy Policy for what this means and what data Google's advertising software collects.
We may change, reduce, or remove advertising, or the rewards attached to it, in any future update.
8Pictures you share
The game can create a picture of your character and pass it to your device's share sheet. That happens only when you choose it, the picture is never sent to us, and you are responsible for where you share it and for following the rules of whatever service you share it into.
9Who owns what
The game, including its name, code, artwork, characters, music, and design, belongs to us or to the parties who licensed their work to us, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you.
The game includes third-party assets used under their respective licences, including Creative Commons licensed audio and artwork. Credits are shown in the game under Settings → About.
10Updates and availability
We may update, change, or add to the game at any time, and we may stop publishing or supporting it entirely. Updates may alter or remove features. If we withdraw the game from the store, copies already installed will normally keep working, but we cannot guarantee that indefinitely - particularly as new versions of Android are released.
11No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in the European Union, your mandatory consumer rights under EU and Latvian law apply regardless of anything written here.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress, lost data, or device problems. Since the game is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you have paid for it, which is zero.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, and disputes fall to the courts of Latvia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
14Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the game changes. The current version always lives at this address with its "last updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not accept them, please uninstall the game.
