The short version: the game is free to play and yours to enjoy. Do not try to break, cheat, or resell it. In-game Coins, Gems, and clothes are part of the game, not property and not real money. We do our best to keep it working, but we cannot promise it is perfect.
1Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Nils Klavins, an individual developer based in Latvia ("we", "us"), covering your use of the game Style Adventure: Merge ("the game"). By installing or playing the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.
Because the game is distributed through the Google Play Store, Google's own terms apply to your download alongside these terms.
2Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private entertainment. That licence is the whole of what you receive: you are not buying the game or any part of it.
You may not sell, rent, sub-license, or redistribute the game or any part of it; copy, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where law expressly grants you that right regardless of contract; or remove any credit or ownership notice from it.
3Age
The game is suitable for a general audience, including children, and collects no personal data from anyone. If you are under the age at which you can enter a contract where you live, please read these terms together with a parent or guardian - their agreement counts as yours.
4Playing fairly
Please do not use cheats, bots, memory editors, modified versions of the game, or any other tool or trick meant to change how the game behaves or to grant progress the game did not give you. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system related to the game.
These rules exist to keep the game working as designed. Since the game runs entirely on your own device with no accounts and no servers, we have no ability to suspend or ban anyone - but modified copies are outside this licence, and we cannot support or take responsibility for them.
5Coins, Gems, and in-game items
The game contains virtual currencies (Coins, Gems, Energy) and virtual items such as clothing. These exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for real money or anything of real value, and cannot be transferred to another person or another device.
Your progress lives in a save file on your device. If you uninstall the game, reset your progress, change device, or your device is lost or damaged, that progress is gone and we cannot restore it. We may also change how the game's economy works - prices, rewards, drop rates, and balance - as part of normal updates.
The game currently offers no in-app purchases. If paid items are added in a future version, we will publish updated terms covering payment and refunds before that version is released, and your statutory refund rights as a consumer will apply in full.
6Pictures you share
The game can create a picture of your character and pass it to your device's share sheet. That happens only when you choose it, the picture is never sent to us, and you are responsible for where you share it and for following the rules of whatever service you share it into.
7Who owns what
The game, including its name, code, artwork, characters, music, and design, belongs to us or to the parties who licensed their work to us, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you.
The game includes third-party assets used under their respective licences, including Creative Commons licensed audio and artwork. Credits are shown in the game under Settings → About.
8Updates and availability
We may update, change, or add to the game at any time, and we may stop publishing or supporting it entirely. Updates may alter or remove features. If we withdraw the game from the store, copies already installed will normally keep working, but we cannot guarantee that indefinitely - particularly as new versions of Android are released.
9No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in the European Union, your mandatory consumer rights under EU and Latvian law apply regardless of anything written here.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress, lost data, or device problems. Since the game is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you have paid for it, which is zero.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, and disputes fall to the courts of Latvia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
12Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the game changes. The current version always lives at this address with its "last updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not accept them, please uninstall the game.
